Introduction: Non-Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease (NAFLD), is present in over 90% of obese patients undergoing bariatric surgery. It is a spectrum of pathology ranging from steatosis through to inflammation (Non-Alcoholic Steatohepatitis, NASH) and fibrosis.
